Boston

The kids enjoy a cherry Italian Ice in Copley Square.

Smiling under the Weeping Willow in Boston Common.

Liam observes the ducks.

Lila takes a moment to rest.

It was so hot!  Liam thought about a swim.

It feels fine in the shade of the Mulberry Tree.

Lila found a feather.

Just relaxing.

The Swan Boat ride begins.

This is hotter than we expected.

So hot yet still smiling.

We picked the hottest day of the year for a Swan Boat ride.
This is in the shade.

Checking out the cute ducklings on the island.

Still smiling and holding her feather, that's my girl!

A Visit to the Ecotarium

Liam's last day of second grade.

We went to the Ecotarium for the first day of summer vacation.
Wind tunnel - 78.8 mph
This was a big hit.

Lila and Kathryn are geared up for some fun.

Eli and Liam are ready to explore.

Rock climbing walls are cool.

The girls get in the mix.

Using skills from Chess Club.

All smiles on the train ride.

Off we go.

Bubble wands!

Liam checks out the rocks and minerals area.

One more time in the wind machine!

June Foods of the Month

Liam's spontaneous concoction, he asked me to take the photo.

Lila made brownies with frosting and many sprinkles for the last day of soccer.

Father's Day in Southborough

Happy Father's Day to all Dad's and Godfathers, Uncle Mike x2 & Uncle Brian.

Breakfast in Bed

The other tray held fresh grapes, bacon, fried eggs, toast, silverware, napkin and ketchup.
This one held Grandma Heim's creamer with milk for the Cheerios.
Thank you to Liam and Lila for making this happen, special gifts and ideas.

Are you kidding me?

Daddy and Lila

Painted nails with stickers, still drying.

Park Street Ice Cream - Natick, MA

He knows I took my students there for a Downtown Natick field trip.

Lila has Oreo along with Bill (he got chocolate jimmies).
Liam + I =  Coffee.  His in a cup with rainbow jimmies, mine in a sugar cone.
Mema loves sugar cones, too.

Liam knows that coffee reminds him of Pappy, special memory.
He also knows Nanie's favorite is coffee ice cream or a coffee frappe.

Bill & Nancy congratulate the Bishop.
Is there a Priest/Bishop recognition day?  There should be.
Happy Father's Day to all of the father figures in our lives.

Lila's All-Star Tball Game

Lining up.

Hats off for the National Anthem.

Lila Shields up at bat.

Run like the wind.

Taking a lead toward second base.

Hands on knees, ready to catch.

Throw to first base.

Another nice smack.

Hanging in the dugout, glove in hand, XL hat.

Thank you coaches and friends!  Lila is holding up the glove on the right.

White Sox cake, please note Lila #4, all star.

Displaying trophies (now where is that XL hat to block the sun?)
